Mogumber Park stallion Marine One is off to great start with his first book of mares at Bullsbrook.

“He’s a complete gentleman in the breeding barn and it looks like his fertility is going to be great as well,” Mogumber owner Colin Brown said this week.  “He’s an absolute gem and ticks all the boxes for breeders.”

Marine One (Capitalist) has already covered a top-class line-up of mares including Mogumber Park blue-hen Kerimba (Sinndar) who was bred by the Aga Khan from a family of Group winners in Europe.

Kerimba has foaled Classic Lady (LR Gosford Belle of the Turf Stakes) and My Sugar who won five sprints and AUD1.22 million in Hong Kong.  Her 2yo is a Safeguard filly with Pearce Racing.

The dam of this Unite And Conquer filly has been covered by Marine One

Other local breeders supporting Marine One include Amelia Park with Bound Copy (Street Cry), Wally Daly with Femmette (Murtajill) while Mogumber and Kingstar Farm jointly own former Peters Investments mare Paris Romance (Redoute’s Choice).

Marine One stands at Mogumber Park in association with Kingstar Farm and they have sent several mares from the Hunter Valley to settle long-term in Western Australia.  Among those covered by Marine One is the Pierro mare Kistos who is from the immediate family of Group 1 racehorse and successful shuttler Starspangledbanner.

Kistos foaled an outstanding filly by Kingstar stallion Unite And Conquer (Hinchinbrook) at Mogumber Park in August and, under the breed-back option, she will be eligible for Westspeed Platinum.

Mogumber Park is standing Marine One for an introductory fee of $8,800 (inc GST).  For bookings or further details, please contact Colin Brown on 0408 251880 or E: colin@mogumberpark.com
